OPEN AUDITIONS for every section and seating will be taking place in August of 2026 for the 2026-2028 two-year cycle of Nashville Praise Symphony.
Please check back on our website and social media by July 15 for updated audition materials and instructions.
ALL MUSICIANS WILL NEED TO SUBMIT:
All audition excerpts listed below for your instrument. *Percussion/rhythm have either extended audition options.
Prepare a one-two minute solo selection of your choice.
Make a video of you performing your instrument on the above selections. There is no sight-reading portion of the audition.
Complete the Member Audition Form and email a link to your virtual audition video to npspersonnel@gmail.com to be considered as a sub.
Links for your audition videos may be sent via YouTube (please make video setting public), sent via Google Drive (sharing set to “anyone with link”), via email attachment, via upload to Dropbox or other public file sharing. If you need a link to Dropbox, please email our personnel manager directly for a secure link.

MISSION STATEMENT
Nashville Praise Symphony is a group of like-minded Christian musicians who have a heart to perform benefit concerts for Christian organizations to bring awareness and funding to further their ministries.
To further the Gospel of Jesus Christ through music
To promote community and ministry support
To raise funds necessary for each ministry benefit
To encourage each other within Nashville Praise Symphony
To promote instrumental music within our churches and beyond
GENERAL MEMBERSHIP AND DUES
Section 1 – The membership of this organization is comprised of voluntary auditioned musicians, of which each member is required to re-audition bi-annually. Membership is not exclusive and can be revoked by Nashville Praise Symphony Music Director upon approval of the Nashville Praise Symphony Executive Board if deemed necessary.
Section 2 – Members will pay annual dues of $20.00 per member to help cover the costs of meals, recording, and advertising materials. Membership requirements responsibilities consist of:
Must be a professing Christian and member of a Bible-believing church
Must be participating in church music ministry
Must be at least age 16 or older
Must have completed both an application form and audition prior to membership
Must exhibit qualities of a teachable Christ-like attitude in rehearsal & performance
Must strive for consistent excellence on his/her musical instrument(s)
Must provide or arrange for instruments needed for each season
Must re-audition every two (2) years to retain membership in symphony with the understanding that seating within sections may change
No regular member is to receive monetary compensation for participation in the symphony; all participation in the orchestra is voluntary
Expected to commit to all scheduled Nashville Praise Symphony events in order to retain membership/chair within the symphony
